A 5K For the Kid In You

There is a huge trend across the country right now to compete in challenge races that will push you to the edge of your mental and physical limits.  There are races that keep you up for days, trading places with the crazy friends who convinced you running or riding your bike in pitch black for 3 hours at 3AM was a good idea.  And there are races that combine both those races together.  The Tough Mudder, Dirty Dash, Ragnar, and any plain long-distance race are always going to be impressive finishes.  Today, however, let me introduce you to a wholly different kind of race that your inner-child is going to love...

Technically a 5K, this race is so much more than just running.  The course is dotted with bounce house obstacles to climb, run through, slide down, and enjoy; all while racing towards the finish line. You can be a serious competitor, but you might be one in a sea of fun-loving adventure seekers laughing as they battle their way through to the end together.  It's a race for families, friends, parents and kids, college roommates, guys looking to meet light-hearted girls (and vice versa), maybe even a dog or two.

The great news?  The Great Inflatable Race is coming to Salt Lake City in May!  For more information, check out their website FAQ's.

I know this is a race that you will love being a part of!  It seems like a little ways off, but registration prices will go up as the date gets closer...

Use code "FREEMPLES" to receive
$10 off your registration fees.
(Registration includes T-shirt, sunglasses, and race access)

Doesn't this look like crazy fun!
Tell me who you want to run this race with you?

Don't want to run, but still want to be there?
I'll be volunteering-sign up & come join me!
Or, spectators are welcome of course-
it's free to watch or buy the spectator pack and wear your t-shirt & glasses proudly.

Not near Salt Lake City and wondering if there's one for you?

  1. This looks like a lot of fun!! :) I would totally try something like this.. though I'm really not a huge fan of races in general. Running is the absolute worst for me.. I'd rather do any other type of exercise haha
