July Activities at This Is The Place (Giveaway)

We have now visited This Is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City in every season but summer. We loved their Halloween Activities. It is BEAUTIFUL at Christmas time, and the weather and crowds are perfect in the spring. It is definitely time to take a summer field trip. Lucky for us, with two holidays in July, This is the Place has bonus activities in addition to the dozens of fun things you can do there everyday!

#1 on the list of what I want to see? The brand new Native American Village! In the past I've felt it was a little unfortunate that the Native American activities seemed to just get shuffled from spare space to spare space. Now they have their own dedicated area, and it looks tremendous. It now is home to America's largest tipi, where visitors will be able to learn the Friendship dance and participate in other events as well.

For the holiday events the tough part is going to be deciding which one to attend (of course, both is absolutely an option). July 2 & 4 you can join in the fun to celebrate Liberty Days, and July 23 & 25, Pioneer Day festivities. A schedule for both can be found on the This Is the Place website

Now, I know everyone is excited to visit, and I have a new opportunity to send one lucky reader and the family for a day of fun...see the giveaway widget below for information on how to enter...
